Honey Bee Soap

6.50

This handmade, cold-process Honey Bee Soap is as Vermont as you can get. Made from locally sourced Vermont clover honey, bee pollen and beeswax, it's as good looking as it is good for you, your skin and the environment. It is an extra mild soap suitable for the most sensitive of skins with a faint smell of sweet honey. A soap for young & old.

We're also donating 20% of all proceeds from this soap bar to the effort of rescuing honey bees.

All of our products are: Natural * Eco Friendly * Paraben Free * Decadent * Handmade in Vermont using solar power

Our Honey Bee Soap contains honey, beeswax as well as bee pollen. While we're normally super happy to create a 100% vegan recipe for our vegan customers, this recipe unfortunately cannot be tweaked to be fully vegan friendly.

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Honey, aqua (water), Sodium Hydroxide*

Every single one of our artisan soaps is handcrafted from scratch using our own recipes, made in small batches right here in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains.

We use only natural, ethically sourced, skin-loving oils and butters, organic whenever possible. At North Country Soapworks, we support fellow local businesses and try to source locally as much as we can. We only use pure essential oils, natural plant-based colorants, herbs and cosmetic grade clays. We never use premade soap bases, detergents, preservatives, sulfates, synthetic ingredients, mineral oils, micas, dioxides or any other synthetic garbage.

Each handmade bar may vary slightly in shape and color and vary in appearance from what you see on this page.

PLEASE NOTE: Handmade soap will last a long time if allowed to dry between uses. To extend your soap's life, use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct streams of water.

*Lye is used to turn oils into soap - this process is called saponification. All soaps are made with lye (if they're not made with lye, they're not "soap" but technically a "detergent"). No lye remains in the final end product.
