Vermont Beer Soap

from 6.50

Vermont. Beer. Soap. Yep. Vermont Beer Soap. Made with locally sourced Vermont beer. It's awesome. It's bubbly. It's silky smooth. It loves skin. Beer Soap rocks.

This Beer Soap has been made with oils that will have your skin beg for more. Citrus essential oils complement this recipe perfectly for a summer fresh unisex note.

Unlike commercial soaps, our all-natural soaps contain no detergents (which can cause dry and flaky skin), no preservatives and they are free of EDTA, BHT, Paraben or any other synthetic flavors or yucky stuff.

What they do contain, however, is a power pack of skin loving ingredients with only the finest of butters, oils and essential oils.

All of our products are: Natural * Eco Friendly * Paraben Free * Decadent * Handmade in Vermont using solar power

This soap is made with lard & tallow (beef and pig fat) - which doesn't quite sound that sexy but both make for amazing soap with their skin friendly properties. Here's a cool article that explains why using lard/tallow just makes sense and helps reduce waste

Ingredients: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, beer, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit) Oil, Pinus sylvestris (Scotch Pine) Oil, Citrus limonium, Litsea cubeba (Litsea) Oil. aqua, Sodium Hydroxide*

We did, however, listen to our vegan friends and created an equally mild, skin loving and all around awesome vegan version of this soap. Note that the lead time for this soap is 6 weeks to allow the soap time to cure & harden.

Every single one of our artisan soaps is handcrafted from scratch using our own recipes, made in small batches right here in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains.

We use only natural, skin-loving oils, fats and butters, organic whenever possible. At North Country Soapworks, we support fellow local businesses and try to source locally as much as we can. We only use pure essential oils, natural plant-based colorants, herbs and cosmetic grade clays. We never use premade soap bases, detergents, preservatives, sulfates, synthetic ingredients, mineral oils, micas, dioxides or any other synthetic garbage.

Each handmade bar may vary slightly in shape and color and vary in appearance from what you see on this page.

PLEASE NOTE: Handmade soap will last a long time if allowed to dry between uses. To extend your soap's life, use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct streams of water.

*Lye is used to turn oils into soap - this process is called saponification. All soaps are made with lye (if they're not made with lye, they're not "soap" but technically a "detergent"). No lye remains in the final end product.
